West Med Container Terminal, the concession holder of the eastern container terminal at Nador West Med port, has announced the completion of preparations to receive its first commercial calls, ahead of the date set in the initial programme.
The preparations included finishing development works, installing equipment and IT systems, as well as training teams and running a trial call to assess the operational system.
The terminal can handle the world's largest container ships, strengthening Morocco's position in international supply chains and turning Nador into a port and logistics platform with Mediterranean and international reach.
