The Al Hoceima constituency is seeing fierce competition among 14 lists for the 23 September 2026 elections, which will fill four parliamentary seats.
The lists mix familiar and new faces, including Karim Boutahiri for the National Rally of Independents, Mohamed Hamouti for Authenticity and Modernity, Mohamed El Aaraj for the Popular Movement, Abdelhak Amghar for the Socialist Union, Mohamed Boudra for the Party of Progress and Socialism and Mohamed Hamoudani for Istiqlal.
Long-time Istiqlal candidate Noureddine Moudiane is absent after his conviction in a defamation case.
Several previously victorious parties hope to repeat their result in a constituency allotted four seats.
