Police Custody Extended for Three Detainees in Imzouren Events

According to a well-informed source, the police custody of three people arrested in connection with the events in Imzouren has been extended.
They are currently being investigated by the Royal Gendarmerie under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
The aim is to deepen the investigation and determine the acts attributed to each of them.
The incident resulted in the death of a police officer from a gunshot wound, injuries to two gendarmes and a civilian, while the main suspect was wounded in the leg.
A statement said that members of the same gang tried to intervene with two cars and a hunting rifle, firing at the police.
The operation led to the arrest of the main suspect and two others, and the seizure of a hunting rifle and a drone.
Investigations continue before appropriate legal decisions are made.
