As part of preparations for the upcoming legislative elections, Saïd Rahmouni, a former leader of the RNI, has forged an alliance with Mohamed Aberchane, a parliamentarian from the USFP.
Rahmouni secured his daughter's nomination on the party's regional list, while Miloud Ben Azzouz has returned to Aberchane's circle.
The alliance is expected to bolster Aberchane's position in the regions of Selouane, Aarkmane, and Nador, where Rahmouni is believed to have an electoral base of 3,000 votes in Selouane and 4,000 in Nador.
However, these figures remain uncertain, especially after the disintegration of previous alliances.
The elections will reveal Rahmouni's real ability to mobilize these votes and whether the alliance will bring concrete gains for Aberchane.
