The 2026-2027 school year in the Al Hoceima province started under good conditions, with the continued expansion of the 'pioneering schools' model.
The number of students enrolled in public education is 89,288, supervised by 4,668 teachers.
The experience currently covers 100 primary schools out of 144 and 12 middle schools out of 38.
At the Ahmed Boukmakh school in Imzouren, which is participating for its third year, there are 565 students.
The director said the start went well and diagnostic assessments are beginning to determine students' levels, followed by an intensive support program.
Inspector Mohamed Aoussaid said teachers have been attending training workshops since September 3, and the generalization of the experience is expected to be completed next year.
