Funeral of police officer Hamza Zaam in Ksar El Kebir after his killing in Imzouren

The body of security officer Hamza Zaam, killed by gunfire during an intervention in Imzouren (Al Hoceima province), was buried today in Ksar El Kebir, his hometown, after a solemn procession from Al Hoceima.
The ceremony, led by the deputy head of regional security, brought together family and colleagues.
Zaam, a member of the anti-gang brigade, was fatally wounded during an operation to arrest a suspect wanted for drug trafficking and attempted murder.
The attacker, aged 25, used a hunting rifle, also injuring a technician, before being neutralized and arrested.
