Mohamed Ahallal, first deputy mayor of Béni Ensar, sharply criticized the company delegated to manage public transport in the region, saying it does not respect the specifications and chooses the lines it wants without coordination with the council.
He noted that the company failed to keep its promises to build bus shelters protecting citizens from heat and cold, and did not build the promised public library at Othmane Ibn Affane high school, despite allocating 60 million centimes.
He also denounced the unilateral increase in transport fares.
He called for terminating the contract with the company and attracting another that is 'civic' and guarantees an efficient public service.
