Residents of the Aarid 1, 2, and 3 neighborhoods in Nador organized a protest on Tuesday, September 8, at noon, in front of a plot of land, expressing their rejection of an unclear exploitation of a property belonging to collective lands.
The population had previously sent a letter to the president of the Nador communal council, opposing any authorization or measure allowing the exploitation of the property and demanding disclosure of its legal status.
Protesters stressed that their main demand is to preserve the property and allocate it to the public interest, especially since the area lacks public spaces.
They called on the commune to assume its responsibility in protecting collective property and to provide official clarifications, while respecting legal procedures.
