The Anoual Forum for Development and Citizenship organized, on September 5 and 6, a training session on 'Drafting and writing parallel reports on human rights', in the conference room of the Mercure Hotel in Nador, led by Dr.
Mohamed Sebbai.
The aim is to strengthen the capacities of civil actors in the Oriental region in monitoring, documentation and data analysis, and to provide them with tools to prepare and present parallel reports.
The training combined theory and practical exercises: the first day focused on concepts of parallel reports, human rights mechanisms and monitoring and documentation techniques.
The second day was devoted to the methodological and practical aspect, with work in small groups on structuring a model of a parallel report and presenting results.
The training is part of the project 'Dynamism of the East for the promotion of a culture of human rights', in partnership with the ministry in charge of human rights.
