The Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) in Nador filed its candidacy file with the competent authorities, ahead of the legislative elections scheduled for September 23.
The list is led by Dr.
Mohamed Boulayoune, former regional official at the delegation of the Ministry of Health in Nador, researcher in health and environmental sociology, former director of the newspaper Al-Rif Al-Maghribia, and associative and union activist.
The list also includes Rabiaa Akoub, regional coordinator of the Forum for Parity and Equality, Mohamed Chaou, secretary of the Socialist Youth Nador branch and economics researcher, and Mohamed Farkali, official at the Ministry of Justice and law researcher.
These candidacies are part of the party's program for 2026-2031, with a budget of about 575 billion dirhams, focused on fighting the rentier economy, tax justice, creating a public investment bank, strengthening digital transformation, creating one million jobs for youth, raising the minimum wage by 15% in two stages, creating 100,000 positions in the digital sector, and supporting families and schoolchildren.
The program also gives importance to health, education, housing, water sovereignty, industry and agriculture, as well as issues of democracy, freedoms, equality, Amazigh culture and MRE.
The party seeks to turn these competencies into an influential electoral presence through direct communication with citizens and realistic solutions to the region's problems.
