Moroccan migrant arrested in Nador over killing of woman in Oujda

Judicial police officers from Oujda, in coordination with national security in Nador, arrested at dawn on Monday a 58-year-old man suspected of killing a woman with a hunting rifle.
The body of a woman in her forties was found on Sunday evening in the El Jorf neighborhood of Oujda; ballistic tests showed she had been hit by two projectiles from a hunting weapon.
After identifying the suspect, security forces tracked him to Nador, where he was arrested as he was preparing to leave the country.
Two cartridge cases believed to have been used in the crime were found in his possession.
Preliminary investigations indicate a prior relationship between the suspect and the victim, who met on Sunday evening before the incident.
The exact motives are still under investigation, and the suspect has been placed in police custody under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office.
