Arrest in Nador of Moroccan resident abroad accused of killing woman in Oujda

Judicial police in Oujda, in coordination with national security in Nador, arrested in the early hours of Monday, September 7, a 58-year-old man suspected of intentional homicide with a hunting rifle.
Authorities had found Sunday evening the body of a 40-year-old woman in Oujda, and ballistic tests showed she had been shot twice with a hunting rifle.
The investigation led to the identification of the perpetrator and his arrest in Nador as he was preparing to leave the country.
He is a Moroccan resident abroad, found in possession of two cartridge cases.
Preliminary information indicates prior acquaintance with the victim, whom he met Sunday evening in the El Jarf neighborhood.
He was placed in police custody pending judicial investigation.
