Suspect Arrested for Murder of Woman in Oujda Before Leaving Country

Officers of the judicial police in Oujda, in coordination with the national security in Nador, arrested at dawn on Monday a 58-year-old man suspected of murdering a 40-year-old woman with a hunting rifle.
The victim was found on Sunday evening in Oujda with two gunshot wounds.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, a Moroccan residing abroad, was about to leave the country when he was arrested in Nador.
Two cartridge casings used in the crime were seized.
Initial indications point to a prior relationship between the suspect and the victim, whom he had met before.
The investigation continues under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office to determine the motives.
