End of Maritime Crossings Between Al Hoceima and Motril with a Less Active Season
The maritime crossings on the line connecting the port of Al Hoceima to the Spanish port of Motril ended on Friday, September 4, as part of Operation "Marhaba 2026".
The line recorded between July 14 and September 4 the passage of 40,934 passengers, of which 17,431 arriving in Morocco and 23,503 departing.
9,146 vehicles also crossed, including 4,128 entering and 5,018 leaving.
These figures are lower than those of the 2025 season, which saw more than 48,000 passengers, due to the delay in the line's launch this year.
Despite this, the last crossings showed continued demand, with one of the voyages arriving with high numbers of passengers and vehicles, but the overall pace remained below the previous level.
