The quantities of coastal and traditional fishery products landed at the port of Nador recorded a 24% decrease by the end of March 2026, reaching 827 tons compared to 1,089 tons in the same period last year, according to the National Fisheries Office.
The market value of these products also dropped by 20% to 45.69 million dirhams, compared to 56.75 million in the previous year.
While quantities of pelagic fish increased by 1%, white fish quantities decreased by 5%, mollusks by 33%, and crustaceans by 24%.
Nationally, the volume of marketed landings reached 89,895 tons, down 34%, while the value fell by 3%.
