The Shared Memory Center for Democracy and Peace has announced the organization of the 15th edition of the International Festival of Shared Memory Cinema in Nador, from October 30 to November 4, 2026, under the theme 'Memory of the Future'.
This edition aims to promote the values of peace and coexistence in a context of international tensions related to memory and history.
The festival focuses on the involvement of young people as key actors in shaping the memory of the future, by providing them with tools for critical thinking.
The organizers have revealed the composition of the juries: Roberta Bazzi chairs the jury for feature films, Lamia Chraibi for documentaries, and Randa Maoufia for short films, reflecting the presence of female talent.
The program includes international screenings, academic seminars, training workshops, and an international colloquium on transitional justice.
The international prize 'Memory for Democracy and Peace' will also be awarded to a personality who has contributed to consolidating the values of peace.
