The leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) has renewed its confidence in parliamentarian Younes Ouchen, aged about 26, to run in the upcoming 2026 legislative elections in the Driouch constituency, competing for the three seats allocated to the province.
This support is part of the party's drive to encourage youth participation in politics, especially as he serves as deputy secretary-general of the party's youth wing.
Sources close to Ouchen confirmed his readiness to contest the elections, expressing his ambition to return to parliament.
Ouchen joined the House of Representatives in 2022 after partial elections, whose results were annulled by the Constitutional Court.
In the elections of June 13, 2023, he won one of the two seats with 9,900 votes.
The constituency sees strong competition among major parties, as the last elections distributed the four seats among the RNI, PAM, and Istiqlal.
