305 million dirhams for the rehabilitation of three communes in Driouch

The Council of the Oriental region signed a partnership agreement with three urban communes in the province of Driouch, namely Ben Taïeb, Driouch and Midar, for a total amount of approximately 305 million dirhams, to implement urban rehabilitation projects, strengthen infrastructure and create social facilities.
The meeting was chaired by the president of the regional council, Abdel Nabi Baoui, and the governor of the province, Mohamed Rchdi, in the presence of the commune presidents and elected officials.
Baoui also unveiled other development projects that the province has benefited from, including the construction of 21 neighborhood fields, a covered hall in Ben Taïeb, 4 socio-sports centers and the development of more than 18 rural centers.
He said that the province will benefit from 3 vocational training centers in Ben Taïeb, Midar and Driouch.
He added that more than 46 douars have benefited from electrification projects worth 31 million dirhams, in addition to the drilling of 18 water wells.
