Younes Ouchen, candidate of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), won a seat in the House of Representatives in the by-elections held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in Driouch province.
According to the final results, Ouchen obtained 7,080 votes, compared to 3,933 for the Istiqlal Party candidate, who came second.
Three parties competed in this election: PAM, Istiqlal, and the Popular Movement.
The elections were held to fill two parliamentary seats.
The result confirms the party's strength in the province, according to a party statement.
