Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, made a field visit to Driouch province, launching development projects under the Generation Green strategy.
The visit included the launch of a program to support rural youth and women in creating agricultural enterprises, a program for the development of rural tracks, and follow-up on the program to mitigate the effects of drought.
The minister highlighted the province's potential in the production of olives, carob, and almonds.
In the Ben Taïeb commune, he launched a support program targeting 20,100 young people and women nationwide.
In the Maader douar, he inspected a project to diversify agricultural production with an investment of 46 million dirhams, including the planting of 1,800 hectares of fruit trees.
He also launched a project to develop 6.2 km of rural tracks.
He followed up on the program to support livestock farmers with the distribution of subsidized barley and tanks.
