The services of the Midar proximity hospital in Driouch province were launched on Thursday after its rehabilitation and equipping, thereby strengthening the healthcare offer in the Oriental region.
The launch was overseen by the regional director of health and social protection, in the presence of the provincial delegate.
This initiative is part of reducing territorial disparities and implementing the royal reform of the health system.
The hospital includes a medical-surgical wing, a mother-child unit, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and other facilities.
Its capacity is 45 beds, and about 90 medical, nursing, and administrative staff have been mobilized.
