Days before the start of the electoral campaign for the partial election scheduled for June 13, four candidates have declared so far.
They are Mohamed El Fadili of the Popular Movement Party and Mounim El Fattahi of the Istiqlal Party.
The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) also announced the candidacy of Younes Ouchen, a former deputy for the constituency, after expelling former parliamentarian Mustapha El Khalfioui.
The party did not reveal the reasons for the expulsion, but differences escalated over the partial elections.
El Khalfioui had been dismissed by the Constitutional Court in September 2021 for electoral violations.
Ouchen was also dismissed last September.
The candidates are competing for two seats in the House of Representatives, in the third election in the province after the cancellation of the previous two.
