Driouch commemorates the 105th anniversary of the Battle of Anoual

The High Commission for Former Resistance Fighters and Members of the Liberation Army organized on Tuesday, at the headquarters of Driouch Province, a commemorative meeting for the 105th anniversary of the Battle of Anoual.
Chaired by High Commissioner Mustafa El Ktiri, in the presence of the provincial governor and members of the resistance family, the event highlighted the importance of this battle in national history.
In his speech, El Ktiri emphasized that the battle embodies the heroic epic led by resistance fighter Mohamed Ben Abdelkrim El Khattabi and the sons of the Rif.
He also mentioned Morocco's diplomatic advances in the Sahara, with growing international support.
The ceremony included honoring eight former resistance fighters and distributing financial aid to 31 members of their families.
