During a communication meeting chaired by the governor of Driouch Province on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the launch of the National Initiative for Human Development, the achievements at the provincial level were reviewed.
Since 2005, about 1,682 projects and interventions have been carried out with a total investment of nearly 560 million dirhams.
The interventions focused on addressing deficits in infrastructure and basic services, with the construction of 73 km of roads and 13 bridges to open up 58 douars with more than 80,000 inhabitants.
Additionally, 151 projects were implemented to strengthen drinking water and electricity networks, and 270 projects to improve access to education and health, with a budget exceeding 83 million dirhams.
The meeting included a detailed presentation of the results and field visits.
