Earthquake of magnitude 3.9 strikes Driouch coast
The National Institute of Geophysics recorded an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale this Sunday morning off the coast of the province of Driouch.
The tremor occurred at 1:31:46 a.m.
local time at a depth of 24 kilometers, at latitude 35.655 degrees north and longitude 3.517 degrees west.
The national seismic monitoring and alert network confirmed that the earthquake caused no material or human damage, noting that it falls within the usual seismic activity of the region.
