Morocco's National Institute of Geophysics recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale in Driouch province on Saturday evening.
The national seismic monitoring and alert network located the epicenter off the province's coast, stating that the tremor occurred at 8:54 pm and 1 second (GMT+1).
The quake was recorded at a depth of 25 kilometers, at latitude 35.517 degrees north and longitude 3.621 degrees west.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties were made.
