The National Institute of Geophysics announced the recording of an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale on Saturday off the coast of the province of Driouch.
According to an alert bulletin, the epicenter, located off the coast, occurred at 2:36 pm and 5 seconds (GMT).
The tremor was recorded at a depth of six kilometers, at latitude 35.678 degrees north and longitude 3.590 degrees west.
