The province of Driouch witnessed a rescue operation today for a person swept away by flash floods caused by heavy rains.
Civil protection teams and local authorities intervened quickly and managed to pull the person out of the water.
First aid was given on the spot before transfer to hospital.
This operation is part of the bad weather affecting several regions of Morocco, causing flooding.
Authorities urge caution and to avoid rivers and low-lying areas.
