Earthquake of magnitude 4.5 strikes Driouch coast

Morocco's National Institute of Geophysics recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale on Monday morning off the coast of Driouch province in northern Morocco.
The epicenter was located at sea at a depth of 16 kilometers, at coordinates 35.531 degrees north latitude and 3.502 degrees west longitude.
The tremor occurred at 1:40 and 25 seconds in the morning local time.
No casualties or material damage have been reported so far, and local authorities continue to monitor the situation.
The quake occurred in a region of moderate seismic activity, drawing attention from residents.
