Twenty-three women were injured, some seriously, in a road accident that occurred on the night of Sunday to Monday in the commune of Tazaghine, Driouch province, after a bus carrying a women's trip between Al Hoceima and Berkane overturned.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the road.
Royal Gendarmerie and civil protection units rushed to the scene to secure the area and organize the rescue.
All the injured were transferred to the provincial hospital in Driouch for treatment.
A judicial investigation was opened under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office to determine the causes of the accident.
