A serious traffic accident occurred on Monday afternoon on national road No.
16 near El Harch beach in the commune of Atroukot, Driouch province, after a collision between a large taxi and a passenger car.
The accident left one person injured, who was taken by the commune's ambulance to the Mohammed VI regional hospital in Aït Youssef ou Ali for medical treatment.
The competent services went to the scene after being alerted, and the circumstances and causes of the accident are under investigation.
