Hamma Chaabi is located on Aït Saïd beach in the commune of Dar El Kebdani, Driouch province.
It is a warm mineral spring that emerges at the foot of a rocky cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The site is distinguished by its proximity to the sea, allowing visitors to move between the water basin and swimming in the sea.
The spring attracts visitors from Nador, Al Hoceima, Berkane, Oujda, and members of the Moroccan diaspora, especially in July and August.
Water temperature ranges between 14 and 60 degrees Celsius, with a flow of about fifty liters per second.
A 2001 study suggests therapeutic potential requiring further research.
The site suffers from a lack of basic infrastructure, such as safe paths, parking, and sanitary facilities, limiting its development.
Access is organized through a local system: women from 8 a.m.
to 2 p.m., men afterward until 8:30 p.m., and Friday reserved for men.
The site also experiences seasonal economic activity for shops and cafés, but needs sustainable investment to become a year-round tourist destination.
