MP Rafik Mjaït, a member of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) in the province of Nador, has announced his support for Mohamed El Mouni, the party's head of list for the upcoming legislative elections, reaffirming his commitment to party unity.
Mjaït said his decision followed a meeting with Fouzi Lekjaa, a member of the political bureau, where electoral matters were discussed.
He stressed that his choice to remain in the PAM is not driven by personal considerations but by his desire to preserve the party's cohesion and strength.
He noted that several elected officials and political actors from communes in the province, such as Iaznnen, Arkmane, Zaio, Oulad Stout, and Bni Sidal, have expressed their wish to maintain PAM unity.
Mjaït said he has initiated contacts to broaden support for El Mouni, arguing that unifying ranks is essential for strong results.
He also emphasized that current political movements are part of major national stakes and strengthening Morocco's position.
