The Royal Gendarmerie of Al Hoceima province arrested on Sunday an authority officer at Isfiya beach, suspected of possessing cocaine.
The arrest occurred during a search operation on the beach to combat reprehensible phenomena.
After finding the drugs in his possession, he was placed in custody for further investigation.
He is expected to be brought before the competent prosecutor in Al Hoceima after the investigation is completed.
