Operation Marhaba 2026 continues under good conditions at Al Hoceima port, where the return phase of Moroccans living abroad to their countries of residence has been well organized.
The MAP news agency observed on Monday evening the departure of a crossing to the Spanish port of Motril, with intense mobilization of port authorities, customs, police, and the shipping company.
Two separate checkpoints were set up for foot passengers and those with vehicles, reducing waiting times.
Medical teams provided care in coordination with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, which deployed teams of social workers, doctors, and nurses.
Several members of the diaspora expressed satisfaction with the reception conditions and services provided.
The Al Hoceima-Motril crossing carried 942 passengers and 201 vehicles, including 193 private utility cars.
