Operation Marhaba 2026 continues under good conditions via Al Hoceima port, where the return phase of Moroccans abroad to their countries of residence is experiencing great smoothness.
The MAP news agency observed on Monday evening the mobilization atmosphere on the occasion of a crossing to the Spanish port of Motril.
Port authorities, customs, police, and the shipping company participated in securing the operation, ensuring the smooth organization of passenger flow and traffic management.
Access to the ship is through two separate checkpoints, one for foot passengers and one for those with vehicles, which has reduced waiting times.
On the health front, medical teams provided care in coordination with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, which deployed teams of social workers, doctors, and nurses.
Several members of the diaspora expressed satisfaction with the reception conditions and the quality of services.
The Al Hoceima-Motril crossing carried 942 passengers and 201 vehicles, including 193 private utility cars.
