Police officers from the regional security in Al Hoceima, in coordination with the General Directorate for National Territory Surveillance, arrested on Monday, June 29, a citizen with dual Moroccan and French nationality, aged 28, who was wanted internationally via an Interpol red notice at the request of French judicial authorities.
The check in the Interpol database showed that he was wanted to execute a court sentence issued against him for premeditated murder with a firearm, after he killed a person in July 2019 on the street in Paris, as part of a criminal gang.
The suspect was placed in police custody pending the judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor's office, to investigate the acts attributed to him, due to his Moroccan nationality which allows him to be tried by the national justice system.
