Professionals also called on competent authorities to accelerate the construction of a new ice production unit, given the growing demand for this vital product for preserving fish on board and during marketing.
The meeting also addressed regulatory and legal aspects, including updating payment methods in wholesale fish markets, such as transactions by checks and financial guarantees.
The aim was to formulate a flexible approach for local implementation of these measures, taking into account territorial specificities and the professional and social reality of fish traders.
