The Council of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, in partnership with the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family and the regional wilaya, organized a communication meeting for women's cooperatives benefiting from the 'Jihat Nahida' program, under the theme 'From support to sustainability'.
The program aims to strengthen women's entrepreneurship and achieve economic and social integration of women and girls, especially from vulnerable backgrounds.
A total budget of 12 million dirhams was allocated, co-financed by the Regional Council and the Ministry, with support from the wilaya.
The program has selected and financed 244 projects, benefiting 680 women across the region's provinces and prefectures, including 194 self-enterprises and 47 women's cooperatives, active in sectors such as agricultural product valorization, catering, sewing, hairdressing and beauty, trade, event organization, photography, bakery and pastry.
This program is a model of institutional partnership for women's economic empowerment and contributes to inclusive and sustainable territorial development.
