Traffic pressure eases in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima as holidaymakers depart

Roads in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, particularly in the cities of Tangier, Tetouan, Al Hoceima, M'Diq and Martil, have seen a notable decrease in congestion in recent days, after heavy pressure during the first two weeks of August.
This improvement is due to the departure of a large number of holidaymakers, both Moroccans from inland cities who are beginning to return for the start of the school year, and members of the Moroccan diaspora who are returning to their countries of residence as the summer vacation season draws to a close.
Traffic has become more fluid on the routes leading to coastal areas, after a period of tourist peak.
