A serious road accident occurred on Sunday afternoon on National Road No.
2, at the level of the center of the Ajdir commune in the province of Al Hoceima.
According to eyewitnesses, a driver lost control of his vehicle due to the rains that hit the region, causing it to veer off the road and crash violently into a tree on the roadside.
The impact seriously injured the driver and his passenger, who were rushed to the Mohammed VI Regional Hospital in Aït Youssef ou Ali for medical treatment.
Royal Gendarmerie officers arrived at the scene to secure the area and opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
