On Monday, August 31, 2026, the filing of candidacies for the upcoming legislative elections began in the province of Al Hoceima.
Several parties submitted their lists in the first hours, including the Authenticity and Modernity Party led by Mohamed El Hamouti, the Progress and Socialism Party led by Mohamed Boudra, the National Rally of Independents led by Karim Boutahari, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces led by Abdelhak Amghar, the Justice and Development Party led by Hanane Maâroufi, and the New Democrats led by Mohamed El Atalati.
The process will continue in the coming days with other parties.
