The court of first instance in Nador postponed the trial of 50 people linked to the mass migration events towards occupied Melilla, until August 13 and 17.
The defendants, including 43 in detention, face charges of insulting officials, violence, property damage, and facilitating migration.
Most detainees requested an in-person trial and legal assistance, leading to the postponement.
The Moroccan Association for Human Rights in Nador welcomed the decision given the seriousness of the charges.
