Residents of several neighborhoods in Nador, including Hay Al-Matar, Oulad Boutayeb, Bouyazazane, Châala, Oulad Lahcen, Amseffa, and Ibouajajen, are suffering from the continuous accumulation of waste and frequent overflowing of containers, leading to the spread of garbage, foul odors, and the attraction of insects and stray dogs, especially in summer.
Citizens express their discontent with these daily scenes, considering that the city, which aims to attract investment and boost its tourist appeal, needs cleanliness services worthy of its ambitions.
They call for a review of the waste management system, with more containers, modern and tightly sealed equipment, more frequent collection, and enhanced field monitoring.
Observers believe that keeping the city clean is a shared responsibility of the municipality, the delegated company, and citizens, urging the authorities to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the system and implement practical and sustainable solutions.
