Nador Port Leads Maritime Routes in Operation Marhaba 2026

Official figures released by Spain's Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Emergencies show that the "Almería – Nador" route tops the list of the most active maritime routes during the first weeks of the "Marhaba 2026" transit operation, surpassing traditional routes such as "Tarifa – Tangier Ville".
This performance comes amid an overall national increase of 1.8% in passenger numbers and 1% in vehicle traffic compared to the same period last year.
Moroccan and Spanish authorities continue to mobilize their logistical and human capacities to ensure smooth travel and provide comfortable crossing conditions for the Moroccan diaspora residing abroad.
