The second edition of the International Theater Festival of Nador will take place from May 21 to 23, 2026, organized by the association 'Troupe Assame', under the theme 'The Magic of Theater in the Grip of the Digital Revolution'.
The festival aims to accompany contemporary transformations in performing arts and their interaction with technology, and to strengthen the cultural dynamism of the region.
Performances from Palestine, Tunisia, and Spain will be presented, as well as Moroccan troupes from Ouarzazate, Berrechid, Jerada, and Nador.
The festival management has dedicated this edition to researcher Dr.
Jamil Hamdaoui, and will honor artistic figures.
The program includes workshops on performing arts, directing, and puppet making, conferences, and a masterclass for the Palestinian delegation.
The festival also reserves space for young talents from school troupes in Nador.
