The city of Nador is preparing to host the new edition of the International Theater Festival, scheduled from May 21 to 24, 2026, under the theme 'Theater in the Grip of the Digital Revolution'.
The festival aims to create a space for cultural and artistic exchange and to discuss the impact of technology on theater.
The program includes performances from Morocco, Palestine, and Spain, as well as conferences and training workshops.
Among the participants: Al Sina troupe from Berrechid with 'Parloir', Al Wissam troupe from Ouarzazate with 'Viols 1×2', the Mine Theater from Jerada with 'The Fez and the Barrels', Lucius troupe from Nador with 'Ahfaf', Thiatro Center from Palestine with 'The House', and Raquel troupe from Spain with 'Love from the Depths'.
The festival will also honor artistic and cultural figures, sign the book 'Lamma Al Hafi', and offer workshops on puppet making, actor preparation, and directing.
The festival will conclude with an awards and certificates ceremony.
