The Provincial Committee for Human Development of Nador province held its first meeting of 2026 on Wednesday, March 25, chaired by the governor of the province, Jamal Chaarani, dedicated to the study and approval of development projects.
Fourteen projects were approved for a total cost of approximately 25.6 million dirhams, benefiting about 28,848 people.
The meeting was an opportunity to present the new strategic guidelines for the implementation of the National Initiative for Human Development programs in 2026 and to learn about organizational updates.
The approved projects are distributed across three axes: the program to address deficits in basic equipment and services (5 projects), the program to support people in vulnerable situations (4 projects), and the program to promote human development for emerging generations (5 projects).
The committee members emphasized the importance of these projects and their social value, stressing the need to monitor their implementation to ensure their direct impact on the targeted areas and populations.
