The fifth edition of the event "Nador Sustainable 2026" kicked off on Thursday evening at the Mercure Hotel in Nador, under the theme "Nador West Med Port in the service of foreign trade." The opening was attended by the president of the Nador commune, presidents of other communes, representatives of the Agency for the Development of the Oriental Provinces, the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, as well as economic actors and civil society.
Organized by the Al-Izdihar Association for Culture and Sustainable Development, under the supervision of the regional chamber and in partnership with the agency and the commune, the event aims to accompany the development dynamic and highlight the port's role in supporting foreign trade and investment.
It runs for four days with conferences, B2B meetings, and training workshops, bringing together experts and investors to discuss investment opportunities and regional and national development prospects.
This edition coincides with the upcoming commissioning of the port, one of the Kingdom's largest strategic projects, to turn the Oriental into a major economic and logistics hub.
