Nador hosts the second edition of the International Theater Festival

The city of Nador is preparing to host the second edition of the Nador International Theater Festival, scheduled from May 21 to 23, 2026.
This event is organized by the Assam Theater Troupe association under the theme 'The Magic of Theater in the Grip of the Digital Revolution', aiming to accompany digital transformations in the artistic field.
Theater troupes from Palestine, Tunisia, and Spain will participate, as well as Moroccan troupes from Ouarzazate, Berrechid, Jerada, and Nador.
Artistic and cultural figures will be honored, including Dr.
Jamil Hamdaoui, who gives his name to the festival, as well as Haimi Zyab, Bensaï El Mestiri, and Fatima Ben Cheikh.
The program includes theatrical performances, training workshops, and conferences on actor preparation, stage direction, and puppet making, with a special 'master class' for the Palestinian delegation.
The festival management has also reserved a space for emerging school theater troupes in Nador to present their works, aiming to support young talents and promote theater culture in educational institutions.
